The Republican Party is on “death ground” (see Wednesday’s Edition). Death ground is when your survival is at stake and fighting to the death is the only choice.
The Republican Party that created, enabled, and supports Trump cannot separate itself from the disastrous results. Many realize that losing power means jail terms for corruption, failing to follow their constitutional duties, and, for some, treason. People in that position will fight to the death.
Americans vote on 3 November 2026. All 435 House seats are on the ballot, along with 35 Senate seats and 39 governorships. Democrats need three net House seats to take the chamber.
