Every system has inputs and outputs. Someone pays. Someone benefits. The only real question gets squeezed and who profits?

This week followed four stakeholders and how Trump affects them. China does well. Russia smiles. Europe adapts. America pays the price. This is extraction.

Trump extracts from the American people and system and redistributes the value to himself and Russia by design, to China by chance(?), and to the EU if it pays its cards right.

He operates as a particularist; rules do not matter. Do you like and support him? That’s all the matters. But the US and the EU are universalist systems built to restrain exactly that kind of behavior. It’s like forcing the wrong fuel into an engine, the damage is predictable.
